Recipe for fillet steak with feta cheese salad (serves 1)
Ingredients
1 fillet steak (or rump or sirloin)
2 tbsps butter
Salad
½ small iceberg lettuce, chopped
5 small very sweet tomatoes, halved
½ block feta cheese, cubed
2 tsps balsamic salad dressing
Put balsamic salad dressing in a wooden salad bowl. Add lettuce, tomatoes & toss. Place feta cheese cubes on top.
Fry steak in butter on low heat for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked as you like it.
Serve with the salad & a glass of red wine
